CITROËN UP TO £5,000 UK SWAPPAGE SCHEME EXTENDED

Citroën UK has extended its appealing new Swappage Scheme across the entire range of popular models. Customers can trade in their old vehicles and receive a discount of up to £5,000 on all Citroën passenger models.

Due to the success of the Swappage Scheme, launched at the beginning of November, Citroën is pleased to announce it is extending the scheme to include all passenger cars..

The Citroën Swappage Scheme is available to customers who have owned a car - of any make and model – for more than 90 days, which was first registered before 1 January 2013. This car can be traded in and in return the customer will receive a Swappage discount of £3,000 (including VAT) on C1 or £5,000 (including VAT) across the rest of the Citroën passenger vehicles range, including the stylish C3 Supermini.

The scheme comes after the Mayor of London introduced a similar scheme to aid low income and disabled Londoners to scrap older cars. Qualified applicants can receive £2,000 to scrap a Euro 4 petrol car (older than 2005), or Euro 6 diesel car (older than September 2015)*. Therefore, Citroën customers who live in one of 32 London Boroughs that meet the criteria for both schemes can receive up to £7,000 in savings.

Following the extension of the offer customers will be able to enjoy a wide choice of Citroën vehicles, from the compact C1 city car to the cavernous SpaceTourer MPV, available with seating for up to nine. The offer also incorporates the stylish C3 Supermini and the family focussed, multi-award winning Berlingo and Grand C4 SpaceTourer MPV’s.

The offer also continues to give customers a chance to upgrade to Citroën’s prestigious SUV range where buyers can experience and enjoy a comfortable interior, robustness and practicality. Both New C5 Aircross SUV** & C4 Cactus Hatch also feature Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme that encompasses the brand’s unique suspension system with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions®, and Advanced Comfort seats with comfortable foam padding.

CarTakeBack, the French brand’s official car-recycling partner, has designed its Citroën recycling package so that dealerships across the UK can dispose of cars traded in through the scheme easily and efficiently. If the trade in vehicle is to be scrapped, the dealer portal allows customer to have their existing car collected from one of three locations: their nearest dealership, the comfort of their own home or even from their work address.

Eligible Citroën Swappage Scheme customers can also benefit from a variety of products from PSA Finance.^
